“Ex Leasingham Riesling queen Kerri Thompson has struck out on her own with this label based on the organically cultivated Peglidis vineyard in Watervale. Very tight but by no means austere, this promisingly splits the difference between Clare’s bone dry style and fruity appeal. A fuller, spicer, Alsace style 2005 is also impressive, if less obviously Clare."
