KT and The Falcon is a small wine company sourcing grapes from an elevated patch of dirt in the township of Watervale. This celebrated vineyard has been carefully tended by the same custodians for the last thirty five years and represents the true spirit of the region. With gentle care from grapegrower to winemaker, working with organic principles, this dry Riesling and its intense fruit flavour, shows graceful power and is balanced with delicate acidity. The hand picked fruit from the Peglidis vineyard is our second release from this naturally grown vineyard and is the finest example of this vintage. With fragrent spice and citrus crunch, this wine displays all the fine mineral hallmarks of the Watervale region. The 2008 vintage in the Clare Valley has been noted as producing grapes of high quality and our fruit was harvested at optimum ripeness early in the season. Sealed with a screwcap to ensure integrity of product, you can be confident that this wine will continue to reward you with careful cellaring. We thankyou for supporting our project.
