Farming biologically to encourage soil life, our wine production is based on harnessing the energy of the environment. Sourced from a single vineyard located in the township of Watervale, this wine represents a passion for this magnificent grape variety and is a hand crafted approach to wine growing. The hand picked fruit from the Peglidis vineyard is our first release from this naturally grown vineyard and is the finest example of this vintage. Like its growers, this wine is refreshingly honest. With lifted aromatics of fresh citrus spice and delicate white flowers, this wine displays all the hallmarks of the Watervale region. The palate is rich with concentrated lemon spice and shows succulent, cleansing mineral acidity. It shows lively vibrance and flavour and with lingering persistence it leaves you wanting more. The 2007 vintage in the Clare Valley has been noted as producing wines full of flavour and this Riesling is no exception. Sealed with a screwcap to ensure integrity of product, you can be confident that this wine will continue to reward you with careful cellaring. Enjoy it with the freshest seafood you can find – it’s a cracker! We thankyou for supporting our project.
